TEL AVIV, 15th September, 2022 (WAM) — Israeli President Isaac Herzog has received an official invitation from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend which will be sponsored by His Highness The Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue, held under the United Arab Emirates Space Agency, was held in the capital Abu Dhabi in December this year.
Meanwhile, the Israeli President received Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, who was on an official visit to Israel.
The UAE’s top diplomat conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and his wishes for progress and prosperity to the State of Israel. The President of Israel responded to their greetings.
During the meeting, the prospects for strengthening the partnership between the UAE and the State of Israel were very promising, and both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in areas such as economy, investment, and food security to benefit the two peoples.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed hot issues such as the regional situation and efforts to consolidate peace and stability, and the two sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
Herzog welcomed the visit of Sheikh Abdullah and his accompanying delegation, and clarified the importance of the visit in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting cooperation for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the steady development and development of UAE-Israel relations, with the two countries actively strengthening cooperation at all levels to achieve common interests and contribute to the prosperity of the two peoples.
He stressed that the Abraham Accords peace agreement opens up great prospects for establishing a privileged relationship between the UAE and the State of Israel and strengthening their partnership.
Sheikh Abdullah also affirmed the UAE’s desire to achieve peace, stability and development in the Middle East for the benefit of its people.
After the meeting, the President of the State of Israel hosted a luncheon for Sheikh Abdullah and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of Culture and Youth Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Culture and Youth Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State Ahmed bin Ali Mohammad Sayegh, Assistant Minister for Culture and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Omar Ghobash and UAE Ambassador to Israel Mohammed Mahmoud Hajah.
