This is great news for Abu Dhabi! Deep Knowledge Analytics (DKA), the DeepTech analytics subsidiary of Deep Knowledge Group with offices in London, has once again declared Abu Dhabi the most pandemic-resistant city in the world. The award commends the UAE’s thorough, effective and prompt response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It strengthens Abu Dhabi’s healthcare system as a regional and global role model.
In a previous DKA report, published in the first half of 2021, Abu Dhabi was listed as the best city in the world to deal with COVID-19.
How is the assessment of anti-epidemic cities carried out?
The Epidemic-Resistant Cities Ranking assesses the continued development of key cities and provides further policy recommendations to address major deficiencies. The study builds on six factors highlighted by the city government to stop the spread of COVID-19 and show they are resilient and ready for future public health crises. These criteria include government effectiveness, economic fitness, health care management, quarantine protocols, immunization strategies, and cultural compliance.
Thanks to Abu Dhabi’s strong and effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the emirate has been able to maintain business continuity without any closures, enabling all sectors to contribute to the emirate’s economic growth and the health and well-being of a larger population. Safety.
