The Abu Dhabi-based airline announced the news after the British decided to include the country on the Amber List.
As the UAE has been included in the British Amber List, Etihad Airways will resume passenger flights to London and Manchester from August 8.
Fully vaccinated passengers who have been vaccinated in the United Kingdom, the United States or Europe can travel without isolation, but need to undergo PCR testing two days after arrival.
At the same time, passengers vaccinated elsewhere, including passengers vaccinated in the UAE and passengers who have not been vaccinated, will be required to undergo a negative PCR test 72 hours before departure. They must also undergo 10 days of home quarantine and be tested for Covid-19 on the second and eighth days.
There will be three daily flights to London Heathrow Airport and one daily flight to Manchester. Etihad Airways will use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner to fly all 28 weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and the UK.
Tickets can be booked through www.etihad.com, mobile applications, call the Etihad Airways Contact Center at +971 600 555 666, or through local or online travel agencies. A list of other local Etihad contact centers can be found at etihad.com/contacts.
