The Ministry of Civil Aviation Affairs of Bahrain issued a travel advisory update.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation Affairs of Bahrain updated the Kingdom’s red list of countries in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government’s Executive Committee in response to the recommendations of the country’s medical task force to combat Covid-19.
The latest update includes the addition of Georgia, Ukraine and the Republic of Malawi to the Red List, effective from August 12, 2021.

– Dominican Republic
-Republic of the Union of Myanmar
-Republic of Panama

According to a BNA report on Friday, except for citizens or residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain, passengers arriving from Red List countries are prohibited from entering, including passengers who have transited through Red List countries in the past 14 days.
Entry Requirements
Passengers who meet the entry requirements must provide a negative PCR test result with a QR code within 48 hours after departure. Further testing is required after arrival and on the 10th day of mandatory quarantine. The test fee can be paid on arrival or through the “BeAware Bahrain” app.

Passengers who do not have a permanent address in Bahrain can use a quarantine center approved by the National Health Regulatory Agency (NHRA). Those who have a permanent address in Bahrain are registered in their name or in the name of an immediate family member and can complete a 10-day compulsory quarantine at the residence. Passengers six years and younger are not subject to these requirements.
All other travel procedures for arrivals from countries not on the red list are still valid.
The red list countries are revised based on the assessment of the National Medical Task Force for the Fight against Coronavirus, and are regularly reviewed based on international developments.
