Anne Heche’s final performance is hailed as ‘the tour’ | Entertainment

[ad_1]

Anne Heche’s last performance was a “tour.”

The 53-year-old actress died a week after a violent car accident last month, and director Elizabeth Romm raved about the star’s stellar work on their lifetime film The Girl in Room 13 . Human trafficking is revealed.

Elizabeth told PEOPLE: “Working with her has been a very positive experience. These lifelong films go very fast and have a tough schedule, but she works very, very hard and she always brings her A- game, always promoting other actors, being generous to all other actors.

“She was a total treat and was the hero of the film. She became a great friend and did an amazing job. Her performance was a fantastic one and it was a real privilege to guide her.”

In the film, Anne plays “hero mother” Jenny, whose recovering drug-addicted daughter (Larisa Dias) is kidnapped by human traffickers, prompting her to embark on a rescue mission.

Elisabeth and Anne are “very proud” of researching the subject, and they have participated in a PSA with Larissa, working with Lifetime, the Polaris Project and the National Human Trafficking Hotline.

The director added: “What we’re really sharing is a passion for the topics we’re trying to tackle.

“Every day, we pledge to end violence against women and tell a dark and horrific story, but we have fighting spirit and perseverance.”

Elizabeth remains “shocked” by the actress’ death and hopes she will be remembered for her “beautiful work and legacy” rather than the tragic circumstances of her passing.

she says: “[Her death is still] Very fresh so we all miss her, very shocked and frustrated.

“I want people to celebrate her beautiful work and legacy. This film is a testament to her incredible passion for art, people and women, as well as her passion for creating missions, movements and truly changing the world. So I can’t overstate her.”
