Makers, artists, engineers and craftsmen gather for 11th annual event Tinker’s Day, Saturday, 9am-3pm, Explore Inside and Outside the Museum, 500 President Clinton Drive, Little Rock. Participants will use raw materials and tools to build unique machines, launch rockets, explore art and create crafts; organizer Kiewit-Massman is providing construction equipment and other construction-related activities. The list of activities includes robotics competitions, car teardowns, drone demonstrations, parachute drops, water games and LEGO building challenges. A sensory station will offer neurodivergent guests activities “in a calm and soothing environment,” according to the release.
