ABU DHABI – The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Poland have signed a comprehensive agreement in the judicial and legal fields on the extradition of offenders, the transfer of offenders and assistance in criminal matters.
The agreement was signed in Abu Dhabi by Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, and Michał Woś, Minister of State at the Polish Ministry of Justice, in the presence of Jakub Kacper Sławek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Poland. UAE; Acting Deputy Minister of Justice Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi; and Acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Legal Affairs Judge Abdul Rahman Murad Al Balushi.
During the signing ceremony, Minister Al Nuaimi praised the UAE’s strong relationship with Poland, reiterating the UAE’s keenness to strengthen their cooperation in various fields of justice and law, including agreements on extradition, transfer of criminals and assistance in criminal matters.
He also noted that the ministry is committed to implementing the agreement and continuing to cooperate to ensure the interests of both countries.
Al Nuaimi added that signing the agreement helps achieve justice in areas such as combating money laundering, terrorist financing, human trafficking, drug smuggling and organized crime, noting the importance of exchanging experiences and following up on the implementation of the joint agreement to serve. justice.
Minister of State MichaÅ‚ WoÅ› praised the efforts of both parties to sign the agreement, noting the strong judicial relationship with the UAE. “We are pleased with the signing of bilateral cooperation agreements in the legal and judicial fields, which will continue to be supported and strengthened to serve the interests of friendly countries of the two countries,” he said.
