The night sky in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be lit up during Saudi National Day.
Celebrated every year on September 23, it is the kingdom’s 92nd National Daythis year’s slogan is “This is our home”.
The occasion marked the decree of King Abdulaziz in 1932 renaming the Kingdom of Hejaz and Najd to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In addition to concerts, shopping, hotel and dining deals, there are plenty of events taking place across the UAE, including fireworks in the evening.
This is a great place to enjoy the light show.
Yas Bay Waterfront
Yas Bay will host a fireworks display at 9pm on Saudi National Day. For the best viewing position, there are several restaurants along Pier 71 with spectacular views. Attractions on Yas Island will also light up green, including W Abu Dhabi, Clymb Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros World, as well as hotels on Yas Island.
Beach, JBR
For those in Dubai, expect to see fireworks on JBR’s beaches from 9pm. There are plenty of great viewpoints, whether viewed from the beach or the waterfront on nearby Bluewater Island. Landmarks such as Burj Al Arab, Ain Dubai, Dubai Frame and the Museum of the Future will also be lit up green to celebrate.
