Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi is encouraging residents to walk 1 billion steps collectively by October 26 for a chance to win a ticket with Etihad Airways.
The interactive challenge was launched by the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Ministry of Community Development, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, fitness app STEPPI. The challenge ends at the end of the 9th International Society for Physical Activity and Health (ISPAH) Congress, which will be held in Abu Dhabi.
Consistent with ISPAH’s theme of “Making Every Step Count”, the Billion Step Challenge will run from September 23 to October 26 and will bring together thousands of people from the wider local community to help achieve the goal, thereby Encourage people to be more active.
