Cornbread “Snack” Jetwho played in Season 14 RuPaul’s Drag Raceshared a major update on Instagram announcing that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
The new post is a picture of a typed message, in which Kornbread wrote: “I’ll get straight to the point! I was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma. A cancer in the small intestine.”
But thankfully, Kornbread later released a statement saying: “I’m 100% fine, everything is in the early stages, so I’ll be back to normal soon. Absolutely curable!”
While this is good news, Kornbread takes the opportunity to highlight Periodic inspection for early detection and treatment of such health problems.
She said: “I say this to let everyone know that no matter how young you are, please check in regularly [sic]. “
The brief update ended with Kornbread, who said she was “thank you for all the support,” before sharing that she hopes to be back on stage soon.
