[ad_1]

Cinemacity, home to one of the largest cinemas in Abu Dhabi, is now open.

Cinemacity is located in Al Qana, a 2.4km long seaside destination with many restaurants and cafes, bringing to the capital a huge theatre with a 26m wide screen.

Its 15 screens cater to a variety of cinema experiences such as VIP, 3DMax, art gallery and children’s theatre. There is also the Presidential Theater, which can seat up to 1,800 people.

Three VIP theatres offer fully reclining seating and dining options including on-demand waiter service. Altogether, Cinemacity will be able to accommodate up to 9,000 moviegoers and will screen regional, Hollywood and Bollywood films.

The space also features three culinary concepts: Graffiti, Backlot Cafe and Azul Lounge.

Described as a “chic, urban space and restaurant”, Graffiti serves pizza and authentic Italian dishes, while resident DJs perform in the evenings. Backlot Café offers freshly baked snacks such as pastries, sandwiches and artisan coffee. Azul Lounge serves Japanese fusion cuisine including sushi and carpaccio in a luxurious setting.

“Cinemacity Al Qana has officially opened its doors to residents of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. They will be delighted to see what’s inside this beautifully designed mega-building and experience the luxurious amenities and service and entertain them. “

“Our grand opening and major edgy premieres echo our ambition to bring more exclusive premieres, blockbuster premieres and major events to entertain our visitors.”

“As the new outdoor season begins, Al Qana is emerging as the new hotspot in Abu Dhabi, offering a unique mix of local and international concepts,” said Fouad Mashal, CEO of Al Barakah International Investment, developer of Al Qana.

“Building on the successful launch of Abu Dhabi’s National Aquarium, we predict that Cinemacity Al Qana will also redefine the modern cinema experience, delighting visitors of all ages.”

This is the fourth Cinemacity in the UAE, with other branches located in Dubai and Sharjah.
