Alex Rodriguez considers him good “husband material”.
The 47-year-old former baseball star was previously engaged to Jennifer Lopez, and despite their split, Alex feels he’ll make a good husband someday.
Reflecting on his personal journey, Alex shared: “When I was 15, I thought Sports Illustrated called me the top player in the country, and at the time, I was Alex Rodriguez .
“Then at some point at age 24, I got a $252 million contract and probably in Texas I lost my way and I became an A-Rod.”
The sports icon admits he was “probably not the best” partner in his 20s and 30s.
But after “a lot of therapy” he now feels like a different person.
Alex – who has Natasha, 17, and Ella, 14, and ex-wife Cynthia Scoutis – told CNN: “I think I’d make a great partner or husband and father. .”
Alex was in a high-profile relationship with Jennifer, 53, from 2017 to 2021. But the celebrity duo ended their engagement last April and announced their split through a joint statement.
They said at the time: “We’ve realised we’re better off as friends and look forward to continuing that.

Jennifer then rekindled her romance with Hollywood star Ben Affleck, the beloved couple who tied the knot in Las Vegas earlier this year.
Still, a source recently claimed that Alex remains a staunch supporter of his ex-fiancee.
The insider explained: “He was happy for her and happy that she was with the person she was meant to be with.”
