Authorities paid tribute to him and presented him with a gift of honesty, integrity and cooperation
An Asian expat has been commended in Abu Dhabi for handing over a bag full of cash to police.
He said he had taken the money to the tourist police station in the hope that those who lost it would recover it.
To thank him for his honesty, Abu Dhabi police recently recognized him in a brief ceremony.
The head of the Criminal Security Division, Major General Mohammad Sohail Rashidi, praised the man’s contribution and presented him with a gift. He said acts of kindness such as these help strengthen the safety of the community.
The expat thanked the authorities for the honour and appreciated the Abu Dhabi Police’s continued efforts in maintaining public safety.
The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Criminal Security Division Major General Muslim Al Amri, CID Director Major Rashid Khalaf Al Dahhery and Tourism Police Director Rashid Mohammed Al Muhairi.
