Etihad will resume flights to London and Manchester from today

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is currently giving away 50,000 prizes To commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the UAE National Day, it was announced that the four daily services to and from the UK would be resumed.

The news came after the British government announced last week that the UAE had moved from the Red List (with strict hotel quarantine requirements, regardless of vaccination status) to the British Amber List.

There are 3 flights a day to London Heathrow Airport and 1 flight a day to Manchester. All 28 weekly flights will use the super luxurious and energy-efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The round-trip fare to London and Manchester is currently AED 2,195.

Quarantine rules

Go to the UK

according to British government, you need to:

  1. Perform PCR testing within 72 hours before arriving in the UK
  2. Book and pay for Covid testing before traveling to the UK.
  3. Enter the details of the test in the test Passenger location table.

After arriving in the UK, you must:

  1. Isolate at home or where you live for 10 days
  2. Test for COVID-19 on or before day 2 and on or after day 8
  3. You can “Test Release” Program After 5 days of isolation

This ‘Test release’ The plan requires you to pay for a private Covid-19 test to end the quarantine early.

According to the test-to-release schedule, you can choose to pay for the private PCR test on the fifth day. If the result is negative (and your test result on day 2 is negative or uncertain), you can end the quarantine.

To the UAE

If you are going to Dubai, as long as you immediately take an Etihad transit bus or taxi-you will not wear a tracker bracelet or be required to be quarantined.

Because the UK is not currently present in Abu Dhabi’s Green List, Some isolation must be carried out after returning home. The length of isolation depends on your vaccination status.

For vaccination, please refer to: UAE citizens and residents receive a second dose of vaccine at least 28 days in advance, which is recorded in the vaccine report of the Alhosn app.

All passengers need to obtain a negative PCR result 72 hours before scheduled departure.

Passengers who have not been vaccinated need to be quarantined for 12 days and tested on arrival and on the 11th day.

Passengers who are vaccinated need to be quarantined for 7 days and undergo PCR testing on arrival and on the 6th day.
