Sharjah Police has launched a new mobile police station to receive traffic and crime reports across the emirate. Their goal is to provide the best service to residents.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Sharjah Police Chief Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi said the launch of the vehicle is part of the authorities’ efforts to improve the services it provides to customers. This is in line with the Home Office’s strategy aimed at increasing customer satisfaction with the services provided.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi confirmed that the move is a continuation of a plan drawn up by the Sharjah Police, where traffic and crime service stations will be spread across all areas of the emirate so that customers can complete various transactions without having to go to the police station.
Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Mohammad Al Kai, Director of Sharjah Police’s Vehicle and Driving Licensing Division, said the vehicle is equipped with all the smart systems that can be upgraded to cope with technological developments. It will strive to provide proactive service to clients where they are located, representing a variety of traffic and criminal services, including eye exams and driver’s license renewals. Vehicles will be delivered to the door of seniors and determined individuals and provide them with services related to traffic and crime, such as filing reports and complaints.
