Fujairah Civil Defence carried out a special operation on Saturday to rescue a man who fell into a coma due to severe exhaustion.
The National Search and Rescue Centre released dramatic footage of the mountainside rescue showing the man being airlifted by a team member.
According to the post, the Fujairah Civil Defence was the first to receive the distress signal. It then moved from the NSRC’s operating room team to an auxiliary operating system. The team quickly dispatched a rescue plane to evacuate the patient.
The patient was quickly transferred to Diba Hospital in Fujairah for further necessary treatment.
