Visitors to the capital can get free theme park tickets and surprise appearances by Batman, Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi Airports, brings a special welcome gift to passengers arriving at Abu Dhabi International Airport, along with an unexpected addition to their all-time favourite Warner Bros character Appeared.
As arriving passengers waited to claim their bags, they began to notice a basket of carrots, Batman’s suitcases and wacky vacation luggage spinning on the conveyor belt. When the Etihad Airways crew appeared before them, they turned their heads for answers, with only Batman, Bugs Bunny, Lola Rabbit, Duffy Duck, Sylvester and Tweety beside them – punching a line at the airport It read: “Welcome to Abu Dhabi: Home to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi”.
Families and their children scrambled to pose for pictures with Batman, Bugs and other Tunes, all dressed in resort attire, to retrieve their personal belongings before heading to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
Passengers were excited to find tags on their luggage and were given free tickets to visit Yas Island’s immersive indoor theme park at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
Children travelling with Etihad Airways will receive a Warner Bros World themed goodie bag, including a Tritty Pie, through Etihad Airways’ ‘Little VIP’ family-friendly flight programme in partnership with Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi Snacks like blankets and Scooby-doo backpacks. The airline is also offering priority check-in counters for families of particular concern to cabin crew.
