Danat Al Emarat Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Abu Dhabi will host a series of events as part of its “Join the Movement” campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection and screening.
The hospital will offer free mammograms this month.
Recent global research has shown that physical activity can help reduce the risk of breast cancer in women. The hospital will partner with Abu Dhabi’s renowned fitness establishment to launch a range of free-to-attend programmes suitable for all health regimes and exercise levels.
At Let’s Padel Academy in Mussafa on Wednesday, the “pink” campaign started with cricket.
On Saturdays, individuals can engage in high-intensity workouts at Firefit, Paragon Bay Mall, on Al Reem Island.
On October 22, the ADCB Zayed Sports City Pink Run will be held in cooperation with the hospital. The registration fee is AED 160 and can be registered online.
On October 23rd, Pilates and Yoga classes will be held at the Bodytree Studio, and the next day, a spin class will be held at Crank, Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Park.
All activities require participants to have a green status on the Al Hosn app.
