The show was created by Gardner based on her life experiences as a college student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. With the support and playwriting of UBC theatre and film professor Stephen Heatley, the play was written and first performed by Gardiner as a graduation project in her BFA Acting program. She then toured with it until the baton was passed on to the outrageously vulgar productions, who demanded so much of the production that there were two actresses touring on the 1-female show – Emmelia Gordon and Lucy McNulty.

Meghan Gardiner is an actor and playwright who wrote two plays for Shameless Bullshit, love bomb – a musical about teen sex trafficking, and the recently premiered to perfection – A comedy about a grandmother struggling to understand her grandson as “gender fluid.”Gardener has also written for Green Thumb Theatre, Carousel Theatre, Gateway Theatre and toured one of her female performances independently dissolve across North America for over twelve years. Meghan was nominated for the YWCA Women of Distinction Award in 2011 and won the Sydney New Playwrights Venture Award at the 2012 Jesse Awards. She has written two screenplays; both were nominated for a BC Leo Award for screenwriting, and she is currently working for the Arts Club Theatre and the Carousel Theatre.She can be seen on stage in an upcoming production at the Vancouver Art Club in Canada the sound of music and cullas well as various locally filmed TV shows on the screen.
