The Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) announced that public parking in Dubai will be free on Thursday, August 12.
Due to the Islamic New Year, Thursday is a legal holiday. Free parking is not applicable to multi-storey terminal buildings.

Dubai Metro and Tram Timetable
On Thursday, August 12, Dubai Metro will operate on the red and green lines from 5 am to 1 am. The Dubai Tram will run from 6 am to 1 am.
Public bus
> At major stations including the Golden Bazaar, the bus operating hours are from 4.50 a.m. to 12.30 a.m.
> Al Ghubaiba station will be serviced from 4.15 am to 1 am
> Substations, including Satwa, operate from 4.30am to 11pm, except for Road C01, which will operate around the clock
> The service hours of Al Qusais station are from 4.50 am to 12.04 am; Al Quoz industrial station is from 5.05 am to 11.30 pm; and Jebel Ali station is from 4.58am to 12.15am
Intercity bus
> The operating hours of Al Ghubaiba and other substations are from 6.40 am to 10.20 pm.
> Union Square is open from 4.25 am to 12.15 am; Etisalat subway station is from 6 am to 9 pm; Abu Hail is from 6.20 am to 10.40 pm; and from 5.30 am to 9.30 pm and Batian Station.
> Al Jubail station in Sharjah operates from 5.30am to 11.15pm; and Ajman station from 4.30am to 11pm.
Vehicle Inspection Center
The service provider center and customer happiness center will be closed on the same day.
