Applicants must register on the Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA) website.
People who have received the Covid-19 vaccine approved by the UAE abroad can register their details and vaccination certificate with the authorities here.
A senior official said that applicants can register on the Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA) application or website by entering all relevant details and attaching a vaccination certificate.
The ICA official introduced the latest situation of Covid-19 in the UAE at the weekly briefing. He said that passengers can start the registration process from August 15.
This process is designed to automatically verify the vaccination status of passengers.
Travelers can choose to register and they can enjoy the same benefits that only those who are vaccinated in the UAE can enjoy.
For example, only fully vaccinated people can participate in any type of activity in the UAE.
Only vaccines approved by the UAE can be registered and this will be reflected in the AlHosn app for travelers.
ICA explained that the process itself is simple. It involves passengers filling in passport details, entering their address in the UAE and attaching a vaccination certificate.
The official said: “We welcome all those who come to this country, and we hope that they will live a safe and happy life.”
He called on travelers to comply with all Covid security protocols that apply to the country.
