Meghan Trainor feels ‘super lost’ after giving birth to her baby boy.
The 28-year-old pop star – who shares 20-month-old Riley with her husband Daryl Sabara – has admitted to struggling after giving birth to her son via C-section.
Meghan – whose new album is titled Takin’ It Back – shared: “The first song I wrote after having a baby…love myself.
“I’m heavier than ever and I’m just lost. The first song I wrote was called ‘Remind Me’ and it was about how my husband reminded me of who I used to be and then he thought how beautiful I was and I was in Saw a lot on this album.”
Meghan admits motherhood and post-pregnancy struggles have taught her a lot about herself.
She told the Daily Mail: “I can handle a lot more than I thought. I’m a lot stronger than I thought. I always say, ‘Okay, if I go through a C-section, I Can do anything!’
“I think every day is hard, and then I’m like, ‘It’s not that hard, you know?’ It actually makes me do hard things every day, like going to the gym…I suck, and I am strong.”
Meghan previously admitted to suffering from “a little bit of PTSD” after giving birth to her baby boy.
The pop star struggled to recover from childbirth, which led to her son spending five days in intensive care after experiencing breathing problems.
Meghan, who married husband Darryl in 2018, shared: “The first week after I got home, I definitely felt a little bit PTSD – because you finally have the pain of a C-section. Then I’ll tell Husband, like, ‘I still feel them digging inside me.'”
