Emirati students looking to earn a degree from one of the world’s most respected institutions – this is your chance to meet top universities.

More than 100 universities from over 20 countries have come together at the Higher Education Expo in the UAE capital to guide prospective college students and their parents in planning their higher education journeys.

The 16th edition of Najay Abu Dhabi Exhibition 2022, the largest education fair in the UAE, opened on Sunday and will run until 18 October.

The exhibition provides students with a powerful platform to meet leading higher education institutions from around the world, including UAE, US, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Spain, Italy and more.

Supported by the UAE Ministry of Education, Najah is the region’s most important overseas education fair, allowing students to make informed decisions about their future career paths.

With exciting new features, students will have the opportunity to discover everything they need to know about admissions and scholarships, learn more about life on a college campus, and participate in workshops on diversity, self-development and industry trends.

Najah newbie

Najah is dedicated to helping students in the UAE achieve their educational and career goals. Those who visit the exhibition will have the opportunity to discover what is possible in higher education today – whether studying abroad or close to home.

By participating, students can take their first steps toward their career goals and have a lot of fun doing it.

One of the new features added this year to enhance Najah’s student journey is the Success Centre, designed to inspire and empower potential students with the knowledge and tools they need to forge their personal college path. A range of fun topics such as “Breaking the Ivy League,” choosing your dream college, preparing for interviews, applying for an application, getting a scholarship or even a side hustle, and honing your public speaking skills – just to name a few – will be delivered through a series of small groups Discussions, workshops and keynotes for discussion.

For staff, postgraduates or researchers aiming to improve their academic research skills, the Emirates Centre for Scholars Research – an online platform driven by the power of trends – is connecting scholars with like-minded users through the web Seek knowledge and learn.

It also gives them free access to all research catalogs and allows them to publish their manuscripts in reviewed and indexed journals – and even get funding for further development.

Designed for school counselors and educators, there will also be a school counselor forum. The forum will dissect a variety of higher education topics and trends, creating valuable networking and learning opportunities for some of the biggest names in the industry.

The joy of interacting with friends and colleagues is an important part of the educational journey – building synergy and chemistry along the way. Competitive or collaborative, the Board Game Club, a first-ever feature, will develop critical thinking, problem solving, analytical skills, time management and more essentials for future success.

Abu Dhabi University (ADU), one of the participating UAE institutions, showcased its diverse academic programmes, scholarships and other important initiatives during its participation.

The university is previewing its accreditations and achievements in the education sector, including its latest ranking of third among other higher education institutions in the country.

It is also ranked seventh among Arab universities and is among the top 350 universities in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023.

Prospective students who visit ADU’s booth H8-A21 in Halls 7 and 8 have the opportunity to learn more about the important milestones the university has achieved during the year.
