Sony has released its new vlogging camera, the ZV-1F, with creativity, easy-to-use vlogging capabilities, advanced connectivity and eco-friendly features.

Skin Tone is optimized for video and still images, with a Soft Skin Effect option that smoothes and reduces wrinkles when shooting video, and creates a natural skin tone effect for still images. Face Detection AE automatically adjusts the brightness as you shoot so that faces can be captured in optimal brightness even in changing lighting conditions.
The ZV-1F also provides high-precision focusing and eye AF for humans and animals, enabling AF to be firmly fixed on faces and eyes without being shifted by other subjects. Users can easily change subjects through the camera’s touchscreen.
Image stabilization
What’s more, when shooting video, image stabilization is available in active mode (electronic) to ensure a stable and smooth picture when walking.
The new Creative Look feature provides users with multiple preset options that vary in hue, brightness, color depth, and more to create the desired atmosphere in stills and videos. A total of 10 modes are available to enhance creativity and allow users to share content instantly without editing.
The ZV-1F also features an S&Q mode for slow-motion shooting at 5x slower and fast-motion shooting at 60x super-fast speed for ideal results.
In addition to still images and video, high-quality sound is essential to capturing flawless content. Directional 3-capsule microphone and windshield provide clear recordings and reduced noise in windy outdoor conditions.
A simple compact video device
The ZV-1F is designed to be completely easy to use, so vloggers can focus on content capture and use the camera easily and intuitively. Weighing only about 229 grams, it is small and light enough for everyday use and can be carried anywhere. It also has a vari-angle LCD touchscreen that lets you change functions and settings with a touch, including zooming, so operation is instinctive.
The new vlog camera includes a Bokeh Switch button that allows users to quickly switch between background bokeh and non-prominent faces when they want to highlight faces, even when recording video. It also has a product showcase setting that allows users to seamlessly switch focus between faces and products – perfect for reviews.

Connectivity and Accessories
The new vlog camera ZV-1F has been optimized for smartphones. Sony’s new smartphone app Imaging Edge Mobile Plus allows users to connect to the camera via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and transfer images and videos. Captured content can be easily transferred to a smartphone and then uploaded to social platforms. Users can even use shot tags during shoots or on-camera to tag shots for social posting. Additionally, users can cut and transfer specific 15, 30 or 60 second marker clips to their smartphones and post directly to social media without editing the length to fit the platform.
The Imaging Edge Mobile Plus app also allows users to control many camera settings such as date, time and region as well as software updates and support guides. It can also operate the ZV-1F remotely and display the battery level and remaining storage capacity.
