The CEO of Obsidian Entertainment, the developer behind Fallout New Vegas, hopes to release another Fallout game in the future. Read on to learn more.
Obsidian founder and CEO Feargus Urquhart recently chatted with DualShockers to celebrate Fallout’s 25th anniversary. Urquhart revealed that Obsidian would love to develop another Fallout game. According to Urquhart:
Of course, if we had the opportunity to make another Fallout game, we would have made it. There’s not even a question of whether we’re going to do it, just “will the opportunity arise?” I probably stayed an extra year at Interplay because I wanted to work more on Fallout. I like radiation.

A lot of fans are actually looking forward to another Fallout game from Obsidian Entertainment. Fallout 3, 4 and 76 were all published and developed by Bethesda Game Studios. While all of these games are great in their own way, Fallout New Vegas is the most important. New Vegas’ story and gameplay are generally considered the best of all Fallout games. Although the game was buggy at launch, it received various official and unofficial patches. Thanks to this, the vast majority of fans still play the game and still love it a lot.
