ABU DHABI, 17th October, 2022 (WAM) — The World League Forum (WLF) Annual Conference, the first ever hosted by the UAE Professional League in the region, will kick off on Tuesday, October 18th, at the Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City.
The two-day forum will be attended by elite groups of decision-makers from the most prominent organisations and football leagues around the world.
The WLF will hold conferences and workshops to discuss issues related to reshaping the future of football, the governance and rules of the game, the integrity and coordination of international fixtures, the regulation of transfers and the regulation of agents and intermediaries.
On the first day of the forum, there will be two expanded seminars from 14:00-15:30 and 16-17:30, with the participation of many international organizations and football leagues, and the expanded annual meeting of the forum will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 9:00 to 12:00 held.
Delegations began arriving today, including representatives from the International Football Federation (FIFA), European Club Associations, the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro), the International Football Association Board (IFAB) and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The conference will also take place in countries from England, Australia, Belgium, Costa Rica, Denmark, Egypt, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Israel, Qatar, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Madagascar, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Turkey, USA, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.
