A fire at a factory in Dubai’s Jebel Ali on Wednesday afternoon has been brought under control.
Firefighters are cooling down at the scene. The factory was evacuated and no casualties were reported.
“The Dubai Civil Defence Team put out the fire within 30 minutes,” said the Dubai Media Office.
A thick black smoke can be seen rising in the area. The media office stated that the smoke was caused by burning plastic.
The media office said on Twitter: “The Dubai Civil Defense Team ensured the safe evacuation of the factory; there were no reports of casualties.”
