Reports say Ukraine offered $100,000 to capture Russian Igor Gilkin, also known as the “Butcher of Slovyansk.” According to Sky News, Igor Girkin, also known as Igor Strelkov and Runov, is a retired FSB colonel who was a former FSB colonel. Participated in the annexation of Crimea.
Ukrainians have crowdfunded millions for the capture of Igor Girkin, a pro-Russian separatist who is said to have helped seize administrative buildings in Slovyansk and Donetsk in 2014.
Igor Girkin is also accused of being involved in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (MH17) over the Donbass, killing 298 people.

“Ukraine Today” reported that Igor Gilkin returned to Russia in 2014 and has now been transferred to the Russian army.
According to Newsweek, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry set a $100,000 bounty for Igor Gilkin, who boasted that he had “started a war” in Ukraine.
“The main intelligence service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense guarantees a payment of $100,000 for the transfer of Igor Gilkin (Strelkov) to Ukrainian prisoners,” the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.

“As we all know, one of Russia’s most prominent terrorists has decided to re-engage in the war against our country,” it added.
