One of the biggest UFC PPV events of the year will take place this Saturday at a special start time in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The promotion had been planning a ‘blockbuster’ event for the return to the United Arab Emirates, and it really delivered on its promise, delivering a fantastic battle card featuring two title fights and many other exciting matches. .
Since the fight will be held in Abu Dhabi, the UFC 280 event will be broadcast at a special time in the United States. Eight qualifiers will begin at 10:00AM ET/8:00AM PT. PPV Primary Cards will be available starting at 2:00 PM ET / 12:00 PM PT only on ESPN+ PPV.
The UFC 280 Main Event is the UFC Lightweight Championship between former champions Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev. After advancing to a ten-game winning streak, Makhachev won the title. Oliveira has now won 11 straight bouts but was stripped of the title after missing the championship weight limit at UFC 274. The former champion holds the records for the most commit wins (16) and most completions (19) in promotion history.
In the co-main event, former champ TJ Dillashaw is set to return to the UFC bantamweight championship after a successful return from last year’s victory over Cory Sandhagen. He will challenge Aljamain Sterling, who defended his title against Petr Yan at UFC 273.
