The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in Abu Dhabi organized a series of virtual events during the week to commemorate the International Youth Day on August 12 each year. Cultural journey in different languages
As part of the effort to show the real image of the country to the world, the center organized a virtual cultural tour in different languages ​​(including English, Korean and Arabic) conducted by a group of cultural tourism experts from the center. Ibn Al-Dar and the Graduate Award Ceremony of the Elementary Cultural Guide Project
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center organized a ceremony to honor the graduates of the Cultural Instruction Training Program (Ibn Al-Dar) and the Elementary Cultural Instruction Program. Fresh graduates participated in the event with their parents. Nine trainees graduated from the Ibn Al-Dar program in 2020, and 21 trainees graduated from the elementary cultural guide program in the same year. Ahmed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, a graduate of the Ibn Al-Dar project, said: “We are very happy to be honored. Jamal Thabet Al Mahri, father of graduate student Mariam Jamal Al Mahri, is proud of his daughter’s achievements. He emphasized that the plan is particularly important because the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center provides training and employment opportunities for Emirati and enables them to qualify in the field of cultural tourism.
Fatima Abdul Hamid Al Fahdi, a graduate of the Elementary Cultural Guide Program, said: “The program helped us acquire special skills through various workshops, which also helped us enrich our history. This is one of the most outstanding projects organized by the center every year, managed by a group of qualified UAE cultural tourism experts. The program aims to train and qualify those who participate in the program to conduct cultural journeys in line with the goals and missions of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center. The center is keen to invest in young Emirati because they reflect the values ​​of the UAE and represent its principles of openness and acceptance.
Youth Cultural Guidance Program
The “Youth Culture Guide” program includes a series of training seminars that focus on speech and public speaking skills, self-confidence enhancement, effective body language and the art of managing dialogue. The program helps to promote youth’s sense of social responsibility and cultivate their skills, abilities and knowledge of UAE history and culture. By doing so, it aims to cultivate a generation that can take responsibility from an early age and become experts in cultural tourism in the future, representing their country’s ambassadors in a glorious manner.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center is under the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and is sponsored and followed up by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
