ABU DHABI, 25th October, 2022 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received today the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, who is currently visiting the UAE.
At the meeting in Qasr Al Bahr Majlis, President Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Rama and expressed his willingness to continue mutual cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
Rama conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Albanian President Bayram Begayi, and His Highness President Sheikh Mohammed responded.
The two sides also discussed the prospect of further strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation in various fields, especially in the fields of economy, investment and trade, given the economic cooperation agreement signed in November 2020.
They also emphasized their desire to jointly advance bilateral relations and help achieve sustainable economic development goals.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and President Rama also discussed several regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Adviser to the Presidential Court, Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi and Mohammed Al Abbar attended the meeting.
