Rihanna looks set to make a long-awaited musical comeback this week | Entertainment

[ad_1]

Rihanna will return to her long-awaited music this Friday (10/28/22) on the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

Marvel Studios has released a trailer hinting at the “Diamond” producer’s new music this week that separates “R” from “Forever,” and has released a date of October 28, 2022.

The title of the video is simple: “#WakandaForever”.

A week ago, it was rumored that Rihanna had two tracks on the soundtrack for the long-awaited sequel.

What’s more, New York Times columnist Kyle Buchanan tweeted: “Rumours abound, I may add: I’ve heard that Rihanna is working on Black Panther: Wakan Forever. “Da” recording the ending song. How do you follow up on a classic like “All Stars”? By grabbing Rihanna’s first big song in years. (sic)”

Kendrick Lamar and SZA teamed up for “All Stars” in the first film.

Rihanna hasn’t released new solo music since 2016’s LP ‘ANTI’, but has been teasing fans with studio updates, most recently in September.

It is also reported that the 34-year-old superstar is gearing up for a major stadium tour in 2023 after starring in the Super Bowl halftime show on February 12.

The “Wild Thoughts” singer recently admitted she was “nervous” and “excited” to provide entertainment at the annual NFL exhibition game.

“I’m nervous…but I’m excited,” the 34-year-old singer told TMZ.

Jay-Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation, who helped produce the halftime show, commented: “Rihanna was a generational genius, a woman from humble beginnings who exceeded expectations at every turn.

“A man born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the greatest artists of all time. Self-made in business and entertainment.”

Super Bowl 57 will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

This year’s halftime show was headlined by Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Eminem, with special cameos from 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak.
