The Islamic world marks the beginning of the new Hijri year on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) in Dubai has launched a free electronic calendar. The calendar mentions important events and public holidays in the UAE.
Although the public will enjoy a three-day long weekend to celebrate the Islamic New Year from Thursday, according to the IACAD calendar, the next public holiday is expected to be October 19, 2021, to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). ).
Anniversary and the UAE’s 50th National Day will be the last public holidays of the year. It is estimated that the public holidays will be November 30, 2021, and the public holidays will be December 2 to 3, respectively.
