Residents, including breast cancer survivors, gather to bid for Guinness World Records
Hundreds of UAE residents, including breast cancer survivors, will gather in Dubai on Saturday, October 29 for a Guinness World Record attempt to create the largest bicycle ribbon ever.
The two-day breast cancer awareness “We Conquer” campaign kicked off with a “Bike Fight” theme, followed by a fun 10km community bike ride the following morning.
The ride is part of the 30×30 Dubai Fitness Challenge and is open to everyone, starting at the Dubai Silicon Oasis headquarters and ending at Dubai Digital Park.
Professional supersport cyclist Eman Thani said: “I am honored to be part of this initiative that celebrates survivors’ struggles and brings hope to those affected by breast cancer. No one is alone in the fight against cancer, you There is an army of warriors, survivors, and people behind you.”
The next day at Dubai Digital Park will witness panel discussions, Zumba lessons, survivor stories, music and art, following the “pink festival” after the evening ride.
The campaign is open to the public on October 30 from 4pm to 9pm.
