Abu Dhabi Airports unveils new brand identity

Abu Dhabi Airports, which operates five airports in the UAE, has unveiled a new corporate identity.

The company said in a statement that the updated brand architecture unifies the visual identity of Abu Dhabi Airports and its subsidiaries, drawing from Abu Dhabi’s visionary leadership, economic foresight and being the world’s most popular travel destination Take inspiration from the reputation of one of the destinations.

Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO, said: “As we prepare to enter a new chapter of growth and development, our corporate rebrand reflects our bold vision to shape the future of the airport experience.”

“Our strategic pivot is a direct response to the changing nature of our industry, allowing us to unlock additional value and opportunity for our passengers, partners and stakeholders.”

The new corporate identity is inspired by a redefined purpose, mission and organizational structure, and supports the operator’s future growth plans. The company said it also reaffirmed its commitment to Abu Dhabi’s economic vision and the wider aviation ecosystem through three priority areas.

The first is to provide a safe, secure and sustainable airport environment and operations that reflect industry best practices and fully comply with international regulations, guidelines and objectives.

The second priority is to play an important role in Abu Dhabi’s social and economic development, providing connectivity and hospitality, demonstrating the emirate’s status as a major tourist destination, thereby boosting trade, tourism and GDP growth.

Third, collaboration and innovation to deliver an industry-leading airport experience and exceptional products and services.

Passenger traffic at five airports in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, namely Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport, Del Mar Airport and Sir Baniyas Island Airport, from 1 January to 30 June 6,299,725 people. The five airports also recorded 94,538 flights for the first half of 2022.
