Emma Willis kicks off Disney’s 100th anniversary with a special event in London.
The TV presenter held a Disney100 debut event in the UK capital, attended by former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens, former Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt and TV personality Jess Wright, who were all on hand to see the experience, exhibition and concert previews. It includes performances from Disneyland Paris and the cast of Disney’s musical “The Lion King.”
The company plans to mark the milestone with festivities throughout 2023, including “Disney 100: The Concert,” which will tour Europe with Disney’s most popular musical works, from “Beauty and the Beast” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Movies like “Mary Poppins” come from Pixar, Star Wars, and the Marvel Universe.
The tour will include dates in the UK cities of Glasgow, London, Manchester and Liverpool from May 31 to June 8, as well as performances across Europe.
Fans can also take part in the “Disney 100: The Exhibition” – showcasing art, crafts, costumes and props from Disney’s history – which will take place in the US in February, Europe in March and the UK in 2023 Held in the fall at the ExCeL Center.
Other special experiences taking place next year include “The Miracle of Friendship – The Experience” – described as a “multi-sensory experience for Gen Z and young adults to celebrate the miracle of friendship”.
It will open in London and include experiences and installations set around four rooms of “Alice in Wonderland,” “Lilo and Stitch,” “The Lion King” and “Mickey and Friends.”
It will take place in countries such as the UK, France, Germany and Spain from May 2023 to October 2023.
