TSR Prayer: According to the police, a mother in central Florida was shot and killed by a toddler while attending a Zoom work conference call, killing her tragically.
CNN Altamonte Springs police said in a statement posted on the department’s Facebook page on Thursday night that it was reported that 21-year-old Shamaya Lynn was toddled by her when she received a work-related call on Wednesday. The step child was shot.
A person on Shamaya’s work phone called 911 when Shamaya fell backward after seeing a child in the background. According to the police statement, other participants in the meeting heard the noise.
Police officers and paramedics responded to the scene and said in a statement that they “do their best to provide assistance,” but Samaya’s fatal gunshot wound was to the head.The shooting happened around 11 a.m.
According to the police, an adult left a loaded pistol in the apartment without security, and the toddler found it.
According to other reports, the gun belonged to the child’s father, but no one was arrested in the shooting and the father was not detained.
Detectives are currently working with the Seminole County State Attorney’s Office to determine whether to bring any charges against the gun owners.
“If you own a gun, please lock it and secure it,” said police officer Roberto Ruiz Jr. (Roberto Ruiz Jr.). “Such incidents can be avoided.”
Spokesperson Todd Brown told CNN that the prosecutor’s office was unable to comment on the ongoing investigation or possible allegations.
