From August 20, only vaccinated people can enter some public places in the emirate.
Abu Dhabi announced procedures for verifying international vaccination certificates for tourists from the emirate.
This process enables visitors to obtain a green status on the Alhosn app. From August 20, only people who have been vaccinated will be able to enter some public places in the emirate.
Before departing for Abu Dhabi:
> Visitors need to register in the “Arrival at the Registry” section of the Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA) application
> Complete the registration arrival form
> Upload international vaccination certificate
> Then they will receive a text message containing a link to download the Alhosn app.
After arriving in Abu Dhabi:
> Visitors will receive a Uniform Identification Number (UID) at the airport or through the ICA application or website.
> They need to use the UID and phone number used for ICA registration or PCR testing in the UAE to download and register on the Alhosn app.
