Selena Gomez celebrated her 30th birthday with a wedding theme.
The singer/actress, who organized the event in July to achieve the milestone, decided to have a wedding at her Malibu, California home to make up for the fact that she’s still single, even though she thinks she’ll be 25- Even in a pink wedding dress.
She told Rolling Stone: “I grew up thinking I was going to get married at 25. It breaks my heart that I’m nowhere near that – nowhere near it.”
Selena – who has dated stars like Justin Bieber and Charlie Puth – went on to describe the party, revealing that she was drinking with friends, who even brought in a stripper.
She continued: “We drank beautiful wine and it was beautiful and then my friend Carla came in and brought strippers. So I would say it was a mix of sophistication and hysteria.”
Guests at the party included Billie EIlish, Miley Cyrus, Camila Cabello and Selena’s sister Gracie.
Elsewhere in the interview, Selena went on to insist that she often feels like she doesn’t belong, describing pop star Taylor Swift as her only famous friend.
The ‘Losing You Love Me’ producer added: ‘I was never fit for a bunch of cool celebrity girls. My only friend in the industry is really Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong. I feel like everyone around me is living a full life. I have this position and I’m really happy, but… eh? Can these material things make me happy? “
