Taylor Hilton leads the tribute to Aaron Carter.
Celebrities are reflecting on the life of the former teen icon following the tragic news of the singer’s death on Saturday (05.11.22) at the age of 34.
“One Tree Hill” star Taylor performed on stage with Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter’s brother Aaron in 2019 and described the death as “heartbreaking”.
The 38-year-old singer and actor wrote on Twitter: “No…. Heartbreaking news about this @aaroncarter… This kid has such a spark. Known him for years, loved him, he was warm, very Fun. Love the putt”
Aaron was found dead in the bathtub at his California home Saturday morning, TMZ reports. He began his career at the age of 7, with legendary songwriter Diane Warren reflecting on the “curse” made famous in her youth in her tribute.
She tweeted: “Fame at a young age is often more of a curse than a blessing, and surviving is not easy. Rest in peace Aaron Carter.”
Actress Melissa Joan Hart shared a photo of their youth, writing: “Love to #AaronCarter’s family, friends and fans. Rest in peace!”
Aaron has endured many struggles in the spotlight as he entered rehab multiple times and had multiple clashes with authorities over drug possession and reckless driving.
The star said earlier this year that he no longer wants to be seen as a “train wreck.”
“I’m not the way some people try to portray me. If someone wants to call me a train wreck, I’m a train that has been wrecked many times and derailed by many different things,” he explained.
