The birth was a few days after the UAE and Israel commemorated the first anniversary of the historic Abraham Agreement.
This is Mia Sztulman Starosta Lembert, the first Israeli baby born in Dubai.
Ilan Sztulman Starosta, Mia’s father and Israeli Consul General in Dubai, posted the good news on LinkedIn on Sunday.
“Welcome to this world, Mia Sztulman Starosta Lembert, our new love (already!!!) daughter.
Born yesterday afternoon in the beautiful city of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Since the Abraham Agreement, the first Israeli baby born in the country. What an honor (sic),” he posted.
The birth was a few days after the UAE and Israel commemorated the first anniversary of the historic Abraham Agreement. Since the announcement of the peace agreement a year ago, relations and bilateral trade between the two countries have flourished.
In an interview with Khaleej Times, Sztulman praised the partnership between the UAE and Israel. “We have reached the point where Israelis live in the UAE, work in the UAE and invest in the UAE.”
As Consul General of Dubai, Steulman received the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs and presided over the official opening ceremony of the Consulate General in Dubai.
