The world’s most beautiful race is coming to the UAE for the first time, bringing together 100 of the most unique and classic cars. For the organizers of 1000 Miglia, or “Mille Miglia” as they are commonly known, it will be the biggest event outside of their native Italy.
The event was first held in Italy in 1927 and has since become an iconic event for all car enthusiasts. In the UAE, the racecourse will travel through iconic locations such as Jebe Jais, Downtown Dubai and the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Taking place from December 4 to 8, as an extension to the celebration of UAE National Day on December 2, the event will feature a 1,600-kilometer car race across the country’s seven emirates.
At the announcement ceremony in Dubai, 1000 Miglia CEO Alberto Piantoni said he was delighted to bring the event to the country. “For the first time in these areas, it’s possible to see parades of cars that are often closed in garages in museums and private collections,” he said.
“It will be a 360-degree driving experience like no UAE racer has ever experienced.”
“This is history being made,” said Gaurav Dhar of Marshal Fintech Partners, member of the organizing committee and CEO. “This is just the beginning and I am sure this event will bring many opportunities.”
The race will see a driver and a co-driver compete against other classic cars in three categories. Chronograph and timing equipment will be shipped from Italy to ensure accuracy. “Don’t underestimate the race to the limit,” Gaurav Dhar, who races in Italy, warned would-be racers.

All supercars will be shown to the public at the Dubai Creek Golf Club on its opening day, December 4.
