Boca Raton, FL – The Studio at Mizner Park, 201 Plaza Real will open on November 16, bringing a new multi-dimensional, multi-generational and multi-operational arts and entertainment venue to downtown Boca,
“This long-awaited and highly anticipated opening promises to usher in a new era for downtown Boca,” said Peg Anderson, chairman of the board of directors of the Society for Culture and the Arts, the organization that manages the space. The region brings fresh and diverse programming throughout the year.”
Anderson, an active civic and community leader for over 20 years after building a illustrious career as a senior executive in hospitality, tourism and commercial real estate in New York City, recalls the original opening in 2010. building.
“The Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center was actually called a ‘studio’ at one point,” Anderson added. “We took a detour, embracing the history of the site and looking forward to an exciting and enticing future.”
The studio in Mizner Park features a 3,750 square foot flexible theater that seats up to 279 people with front and rear curtains leading to a 30′ x 32′ stage; sophisticated sound and lighting; and in-house production team; equipped with sound and sound control room; and a dedicated hall with sound locks. The behind-the-scenes space includes a VIP lounge and two luxurious dressing rooms.
The Venue South Hall is a 4.575 square foot multipurpose space that can be converted into a banquet/party room for up to 200 people; exhibition space; and a secondary performance venue for 300 people. The gallery welcomes guests to the second-floor space with a 4,775-square-foot lounge, which includes a full bar and outdoor patio with views of Mizner Park.
The catering kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate The Studio’s exclusive in-house caterer, Potions in Motion in Boca Raton.
Under the creative direction of newly appointed Executive Director Stephanie Siegel, The Studio will kick off the holiday season with a diverse and dynamic headline schedule, including:

Sean Green is an internationally renowned choreographer who travels the world sharing his knowledge of dance through workshops. He is currently a choreographer for the Miami Heat Dancers, a judge for the Miami Dolphins cheerleading team, and the founder of Out of the Box Dance Bootcamp in West Palm Beach.
