Katie Couric come back and try another Tik Tok trend, but this time it doesn’t seem to have produced the results she hoped for.
Over the summer, the 65-year-old reporter tried TikTok Hydrangea Hack, people dunk wilted flowers in water to rejuvenate them – it works great. This time, she documented her attempt at a yogurt bark virus recipe, which turned out to be a bit of a flop.
This Douyin videoshare to her page Friday, Nov. 11, which started strong, Couric showed the camera yogurt spread out on a pan while she covered it with strawberries, blueberries, granola and chocolate chips. Then she put it in the fridge and took it out to test the taste – from her face it didn’t taste very good.
Couric’s video, set to the viral “oh no” audio on TikTok, shows her wincing in disgust after taking a bite, even shaking her head at the “sour” taste.

At least Couric knows exactly what she can do to improve the recipe, as she says in the clip, “I think it would be really nice if you had vanilla yogurt, but I personally find plain yogurt too tart.”

One user in the comments suggested adding a little honey in addition to the vanilla yogurt if she tried the recipe again, something Couric said she would definitely do next time.
