ABU DHABI, 13th November, 2022 (WAM) — His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will attend the G20 Summit to be held in Bali, Indonesia from 15-16 November 2022.
The 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit, chaired by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, will welcome heads of state and government officials from the world’s major economies to jointly address major global issues.
Indonesia, the current G20 presidency, invited His Highness Sheikh Mohammed to attend the summit. He will lead a high-level UAE delegation to meetings and events during the two-day summit. Priority areas for discussion will be energy and food security, climate action, and sustainable development that enables countries and their peoples to grow and prosper.
The delegation accompanying His Highness on his visit will include His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation His Excellency Yad Al Nahyan; His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Adviser to the Presidential Court; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and Environment; Ahmed Ali Sayegh, Minister of State; and Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia.
