UAE president to attend G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia – News

Sheikh Mohammed says UAE looks forward to engaging in dialogue to support sustainable growth and common progress for all nations

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, will attend the G20 Summit to be held in Bali, Indonesia from 15-16 November 2022.

The 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit, chaired by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, will welcome heads of state and government officials from the world’s major economies to jointly address major global issues.

Sheikh Mohammed tweeted that the summit provided an important platform to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the world today. He also said that the UAE looks forward to a constructive dialogue to support sustainable growth.

He wrote: “The G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia provides an important platform to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the world today. The UAE looks forward to constructive dialogue to support sustainable growth and common progress for all nations and their peoples. “

The President will lead a high-level UAE delegation to meetings and events during the two-day summit. Priority areas for discussion will be energy and food security, climate action, and sustainable development that enables countries and their peoples to grow and prosper.
