Afghanistan: More than 60 countries say Afghans must allow others to leave-News

The Taliban declared the end of the “Afghan War” after taking control of the Kabul Presidential Palace.

The US State Department said on Sunday evening that more than 60 countries issued a joint statement stating that Afghans and international citizens who want to leave Afghanistan must be allowed to leave, adding that airports and border crossing points must remain open.

The U.S. government and countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Qatar, and the United Kingdom stated in a joint statement that “persons of power and authority in all parts of Afghanistan are responsible and responsible for the situation in Afghanistan. . Protect human life and property, and immediately restore security and social order.”

It added: “The Afghan people should lead a safe, secure and dignified life. We, the international community, are ready to help them.”

The Taliban announced the end of the war in Afghanistan. Prior to this, the rebels took control of the Presidential Palace in Kabul, and the US-led troops withdrew. Western countries scrambled to evacuate thousands of citizens on Monday.

The Pentagon authorized another 1,000 soldiers to help evacuate American citizens and Afghans working for them from Kabul, because the U.S. government said it would assume air traffic control to facilitate the evacuation of thousands of Americans.

A joint statement issued by the U.S. State Department and the Pentagon after the Taliban entered the Afghan capital confirms that the U.S. will “expand our security presence to nearly 6,000 soldiers in the next 48 hours, and its mission will only focus on facilitating these efforts and will take over.” Air traffic control.”

Other countries that have signed the joint declaration include Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, Greece, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and Yemen. Person in charge of affairs and security policy.
