CO2oons Hosts ‘Blockchain, Climate, Corporations, and Regulation’ Panel Discussion at Earth Day Pavilion

November 15, 2022 – Co-Founder and CEO David Villaseñor and Co-Founder Matteo Petrelli today announced the launch of carbon dioxide, a new company that aims to change the way people think about and engage in climate change conversations. CO2oons will partner with the world’s top brands to create consumer products, educational programs, films, series and events, all centered around the company’s original IP: a group of creatures living in Earth’s near future who have evolved from its influence Come climate change, now is the only living thing on earth.

The CO2oons leadership team includes: Pete Johnson, Co-Founder and Chief Creative and Marketing Officer, most recently Global Head of Creative at LEGO Agency; Ahmet Can, Co-Founder and COO, with 20 years of experience in the entrepreneurial Expansion of multiple global organizations and successful exits; Matteo Petrelli, Co-Founder and CEO of Exeest, a leading B2B film and TV rights licensing/buying platform.
The announcement was made from the stage during a panel discussion hosted by CO2oons, “Blockchain, Climate, Companies and Regulation” During the COP27 conference at the Earth Day Pavilion. CO2oons brings together panelists Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr, CEO of Hip Hop Caucus and Senior Advisor to Bloomberg Philanthropies; AY Young, Climate Activist, Producer, Singer and Entrepreneur; CEO of Hyphen Global AG, CPG Capital Managing Director Miles Austin discusses intersections, misconceptions, upcoming regulations, and what Web3 might bring to climate change. Panelists discuss the role of Fortune 500 companies and what they can do to help tackle the climate crisis, the real impact blockchain has had and will have in the environmental space, and the role entertainment and more engaging forms of communication can play There are opinions expressed.
