8 crazy internet cafe experiences in Abu Dhabi

[ad_1]

Airplanes, owls and cars…

We like our coffee just like we like our weekends-iced, plus a bunch of whimsy. And Abu Dhabi always provides.

The capital has a thriving bean cuisine, and various cafes offer home-baked blended coffee and internationally renowned gourmet beers. But some venues dumped their Javanese lava in such a delicious extra environment, and they earned 24 carats of Instagram gold.

Bouma

Bouma Abu Dhabi

Boomah in Abu Dhabi casually calls itself “the first owl cafe in the region.” It is true that the connection between Hedwig’s celebrations and primo frothy frappuccinos is trivial, but what about in the great tradition of pioneering spirit? Boomah’s group of cute owls is made up of 10 different species, each with affectionate eyes that may make them the ultimate therapeutic animal. The cafe is taken care of by their beak barista by a team of qualified experts. Owls can fly freely at night, and because the cafe is only open at 2 pm, they get a proper rest during the day. Importantly, you can also get pretty good coffee, croissants, acai bowls and biscuits there.

Boomah, next to AlSeef Village Mall, is open daily from 2 pm to 10 pm, and the entrance fee is 70 dirhams. @boomah.ae

Transit food

This new capital cafe pays tribute to the dining experience, the part of air travel that few people like. On the bright side, the food here looks more hearty and well-prepared than the microwave panini from Easyjet Red Eye to Faliraki. The menu is also very diverse, based on international passes for world cuisine. In a clever detail, these dishes are accompanied by airport codes (for example, curry sausage (Dhs35) from Berlin (BER) and khachapuri (Dhs30) from Tbilisi (TSB). It is much cheaper than international travel, leg The space looks very spacious, there is no last-minute visa scare involved, and 500 dollars is not confused with a stack of foreign currency. There is also almost zero possibility of turbulence, the cafe faithfully replicates the interior of the cabin will make some great “G” snapshots. But why do they have to remake those folding armrest tables?

Dmitriy Grekhov spent some time in the handsome Café Rider in Dubai before heading to Abu Dhabi. His stylish two-story cafe in Al Rawdah combines his love of coffee and cars with an in-house roaster and a series of rare glass-wrapped classic cars. The barista roasts his own coffee beans from the best farms around the world. Food choices range from shakshouka to acai bowls, but we recommend that you make the most of the in-house pizza oven and order some dough. Just opened a new branch in Hudayriyat.
