The venue, which will span 65,000 to 75,000 square feet, will offer guests immersive technology covering live sports, entertainment, art, music and events.

Colonial, Texas – Los Angeles-based immersive technology company Cosm has announced plans to build its second entertainment venue at Grandscape in The Colony.

When complete, the venue will span 65,000 to 75,000 square feet and will offer guests immersive technology covering live sports, entertainment, art, music and events.

“Dallas and North Texas are in Cosm’s DNA,” Jeb TerryCosm CEO and president said in a prepared statement. “We have always viewed our North Texas location as a core pillar of our business. This is an incredible opportunity to grow with the community of The Colony.”

Designed by Dallas-based architects HKS, the venue can accommodate 1,500 guests.

“We’ve been fortunate to design and shape venues and physical environments for every major sports franchise in the DFW market,” said mark williams, Global Director of HKS Venues. “It’s a fantastic evolution of the fan experience that consumers will be part of these events without having to travel to them.”

In September, Cosm announced plans to build its first public space at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles location will be 65,000 square feet adjacent to SoFi Stadium and the Intuit Dome.

Cosm was founded in 2020 by Dallas-based Mirasol Capital, which is backed by RealPage founder Steve Wen.

An opening date for The Colony venue has not yet been announced.
